The Association
The Association was founded in 1986. It is open to companies whose production of security and defence equipment and services constitutes an essential part of their output, as well as to smaller companies, SMEs, some of which with a smaller involvement in the security and defence industry.
The Security and Defence Industry
Since the early 1990s, Sweden has seen a restructuring that has completely reshaped the industrial landscape. New corporate structures and international co-operations have evolved as a result of economic necessity and political intent, worldwide. This global trend has also had far-reaching consequences for the Swedish defence industry.
